First, what is a thermal break aluminium?
Thermal break aluminium has aluminium profiles on both sides, with plastic profile cavities in the middle as thermal break material. This innovative structural design takes into account the advantages of both plastic and aluminium alloy materials, and at the same time meets the multiple requirements of decorative effect and strength and ageing resistance of doors and windows.
Specifically, aluminium alloy thermal conductivity is relatively fast, when there is a big difference between indoor and outdoor temperature, aluminium alloy becomes a ‘bridge’ to transfer heat, and the thermal insulation performance is not good. Thermal breaks are made of aluminium profiles with thermal insulation strips inserted between them, which effectively prevent heat conduction and improve thermal insulation performance.
The thermal break aluminium profiles are made of frames and sashes, and then assembled with insulating glass, hardware, invisible screens, glass glue, styrofoam, sealing strips, etc., so that the doors and windows are processed and made into windows and doors.
Second, what's the advantage of thermal break windows & doors?
1. Great heat preservation and insulation. Thermal break aluminium windows and doors have a thermal conductivity K value of 3 W/m²-K or less, which is lower than that of ordinary windows and doors. This reduces heat loss by half and lowers heating costs by approximately 30%.
2. Noise prevention and sound insulation. Its structure is carefully designed with tight seams, which can ensure that residents within 50 metres on both sides of the highway are not disturbed by noise, and the sound insulation amount reaches more than 29 decibels.
3. Waterproof function. With an efficient and mature waterproofing system, not only is watertightness better, reaching the optimal standard of civil construction, but also, using the principle of pressure balance, we designed a structural drainage system, and drainage is more fluent.
4. Anti-sand and anti-wind pressure. The inner frame straight material adopts a hollow design, strong wind pressure resistance and a good anti-vibration effect. It can be used in high-rise buildings and civil residences, and can be designed with large-area windows and large lighting area; the airtightness is better than ordinary doors and windows, and a dust-free indoor window sill and floor can be achieved in windy and sandy areas.
